1. Who we are

   Tipsy Chat operates the website at tipsy-chat.net and the companion chat experience available through it. In this document, “we”, “us” and “Tipsy Chat” refer to that service.

   This policy explains what personal information Tipsy Chat collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept and what choices you have over it.

3. Acceptance

   By creating an account or using Tipsy Chat you confirm that you have read this policy and agree to the handling of information described in it.

4. Age requirement

   Tipsy Chat is intended solely for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

5. Account information

   When you register we collect an email address and a password stored in hashed form. A display name is optional.

6. Conversation content

   Messages you exchange with a companion are stored so the conversation can continue with context. Without this storage each session would begin with no memory.

7. Preference data

   Settings such as your chosen companion, conversation tone and notification choices are saved to your account.

8. Technical data

   We record standard connection data including IP address, browser type, device category, language and timestamps of access.

9. Usage analytics

   We collect aggregated statistics such as pages viewed and session length to understand which parts of Tipsy Chat are useful.

10. Payment information

    Payments are processed by third party payment providers. Full card numbers are never stored on Tipsy Chat servers; we retain only the transaction reference and status.

11. Support correspondence

    If you contact support we keep the message and our reply so that follow-up requests can be handled properly.

12. Cookies

    Tipsy Chat uses cookies for session management, security and basic analytics. Essential cookies are required for login to work.

    You can clear individual conversations at any time. Cleared conversation memory cannot be restored.

24. Deleting your account

    You may request deletion of your Tipsy Chat account. Once processed, associated personal data is removed except where retention is legally required.

25. Access and correction

    You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and ask for inaccurate details to be corrected.

26. Objection and restriction

    Where applicable law provides these rights, you may object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.

27. Data portability

    Where technically feasible you may request an export of the data you provided to Tipsy Chat in a common machine readable format.

28. Withdrawing consent

    Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that already took place.

29. Marketing messages

    Promotional emails are optional and every message contains an unsubscribe link. Service emails relating to your account will continue.

30. Automated processing

    Companion replies are produced automatically. These replies are entertainment content and are not decisions that produce legal effects for you.

31. Fictional characters

    All companions, portraits and biographies on Tipsy Chat are fictional and generated. They do not represent real individuals or their personal data.

32. Third party links

    Pages on this site may link to external destinations. Once you leave Tipsy Chat, the privacy practices of that destination apply.

33. Complaints

    If you believe your data has been handled improperly you may contact us first and, if unsatisfied, complain to the supervisory authority in your country.

34. Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy. The revision date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect.
